Capable of bottling 50,000 products per hour, Greencroft Bottling, part of the Lanchester Group, are one of the largest bottling companies operating within the European packaging industry.
They are arguably the most technologically advanced in the United Kingdom. Kellwood’s electrical and lighting divisions were tasked with upgrading one of our client’s primary logistics and manufacturing halls.
Greencroft Bottling’s interest in improving their lighting array’s energy efficiency won’t come as a surprise to those who know them. As a group, one of their driving forces over the past two decades was to achieve a Carbon Neutral status.
But why stop there? As of 2014, Greencroft are officially Carbon Minus! This means they produce more energy than they consume.
Kellwood’s design team relocated approximately 30% of the existing fittings, providing a more uniform layout and light quality. Energy expenditure dropped by 66% with a 100% increase in average lux levels.
