The Stephenson Series is a highly versatile range of explosion-proof light fittings, suitable for use in ATEX-rated, Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. Its linear form-factor is well suited for use in a wide variety of applications, including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, inspection pits, and alcohol production.
A heavy-duty copper-free aluminium enclosure, with IK08 (or IK10 with wire-guard) and IP66 ratings, provides sufficient protection where corrosion from water, gas or airborne particulates may be an issue. With multiple installation methods, a safety chain design, and maintained 3 hour emergency options, the Stephenson Series is a unit designed to last.

ATEX Lights designed for PURPOSE
Designed to be compact and versatile, the Stephenson Series is ideal in applications such as inspection pits. spray booths, chemical stores and similar hazardous areas. Features include:
Emergency Option: The Stephenson 5 series offers an optional integrated 3 hour remote-test maintained emergency function.
Impact Resistance: Risk of early failure is mitigated by using a shock and vibration-resistant copper-free aluminium alloy housing, capable of withstanding an impact of up to 10 Joules (IK10). A tempered glass lens provides impact resistance up to IK08. An optional stainless steel guard increases this to IK10.
Thermal Performance: the housing's unique design ensures optimised cooling of the PCB (LEDs) and drivers, resulting in extended PSU lifetime and increased lumen maintenance.
Mounting Options: The Stephenson Series is available with a range of mounting options; twin surface mount brackets, twin eye bolts, twin pipe clamp mount, stanchion mount, clamp mount.
Various Sizes;2ft, 3ft, and 4ft housings available with a wide range of lumen outputs make it suitable for most new-builds and retrofits.
Wire-in-wire-out: the internal WAGO terminal block accommodates wire-in-wire-out installation (up to 4mm), saving money on additional ATEX-rated junction boxes.
Supplied with Glands; M20, M25, NPT3/4", and G3/4" inlet thread options supplied with compression glands certified with the product.
Corrosion Resistant in Grey or Orange; stainless steel fixings, IP66 protection, and orange or grey fitting colours selected to blend in with environment or ensure product is clearly visible to avoid bumps and knocks, .
Zone 1 Group II, and IIC Options; ATEX, and IECEx certified, c/w a IIC certified variant, permits its use in some hydrogen atmospheres.
Safety Chain; stainless steel safety chain increases safety during and post installation.
