WIRELESS PRO - EMERGENCY LIGHTING
Emergency light testing made easy.
automatic self-testing and smart reporting - remain compliant while saving time and money
Emergency Light Monitoring
In the event of a power failure, emergency lighting and emergency exit signs provide a minimum level of light and illuminated guidance, allowing users to exit a building or area safely. It is a mandatory requirement for most buildings.
Traditional emergency lighting (tested via key switches and assessed visually) requires regular inspection and maintenance. This is inevitably time-consuming and costly. More often than not, a contractor or member of staff will spend time (and therefore money) travelling to and walking around a building to confirm that emergency lighting works, but little or no maintenance is required.
Kellwood’s Wireless Pro system saves money and aids compliance by easing the process of inspection through remote-monitoring of DALI-Self-Test emergency lights. Results from automatic emergency lighting status tests can be viewed online or on emailed reports (scheduled to arrive into anyone's inbox). Gone are the days of having to manually inspect emergency lights every month!
Used in conjunction with the Online Dashboard, the results of weekly, monthly and yearly compliance tests (meeting DALI Standard: 62386-202 and Self-Test Standard: 62034) can be emailed to a maintenance team, meaning that time is only spent when needed.
Kellwood has maintained and non-maintained emergency light monitoring solutions for most applications, including Offices, Warehouses, Factories, Sports Halls. Further savings can be made by inclusion of occupancy, scene-setting, and daylight harvesting controls on general lighting.
Simple to Install with immediate benefits
CONSULTATION - LIGHTING & CONTROLS DESIGN
Kellwood's emergency lighting designers can identify the best lighting products to achieve recommended emergency lighting lux levels for both Open Areas and Escape Routes
We can then assess what package of lighting controls will provide you with maximum savings.
QUOTES AND LAYOUT DRAWINGS
Our team will prepare a feasibility quote (free-of-charge) for your facility.
Adjustments to areas and quantities can easily be made to fit your budget.
We work with all the main national UK & NI electrical wholesalers, so you can get a separate quote from them too.
INSTALLATION
The lighting and control system is incredibly simple to install. It can be carried out by your preferred electrical contractor, or we can assist.
Each light or device only requires a single 230VAC (LNE) permanent supply - even the non-maintained emergency fittings - so it's suitable for both new-build and retrofits.
The collator can be connected to the internet using a mobile dongle or an ethernet cable.
No separate control wiring is required.
COMMISSIONING & DASHBOARD SETUP
Kellwood's team will set up the project on the on-line dashboard and then attend site to commission the controls.
In some cases we can reduce costs and pre-commission the products before despatch.
Our time on site should not disrupt your day-to-day operations.
ANALYSIS, SUPPORT AND MANAGEMENT
Emergency lighting fault reports can be scheduled (e.g. daily, weekly, or monthly), then efficiently acted upon by site maintenance if issues arise.
Once the system has been running for a few days, you will be able to review the energy profile for the site, and see forecasts for annual savings/expenditure.
Kellwood's technical team will be on hand to assist with future expansions or adjustments.
