The Vanguard Series vandal-proof light with its fully welded impact-resistant anti-tamper housing is perfect for subways or underpasses, as it can endure harsh conditions, while ensuring public safety with, bright, uniform light.

Its water-resistant IP65 housing ensures reliable operation in damp, underground environments, reducing the risk of failure from ingress.

The rear cable or side cable entry (suitable for galvanised conduit) provides secure wiring connections that enhance safety and ease of installation.

Additionally, its versatile housing profiles allow for both corner and ceiling mounting, offering flexibility in installation to suit various space configurations.

• IK10++ (150J) Shock Resistant Housing: the thick, 5mm polycarbonate diffuser and steel housing (with fully-welded seams) mitigates damage from vandalism.
• Anti-Tamper Security Screws: the diffuser is secured by anti-tamper security screws, lessening risk of unauthorised access to the internal components, and main mounting points.
• Secure Mounting Points: internal mounting points are suitable for heavy-duty expansion bolt fixings, minimising the chance that the fitting can be dislodged from the wall or ceiling with force.
• Triangular and Rectangular Housings: the triangular and low-profile rectangular (78mm deep) housings, ensure the product is suitable for corner, ceiling, and wall-mount applications.
• A Range of Light Outputs and Fitting Sizes: 2ft, 4ft, and 5ft housings, and outputs up to 5,700 lumens, ensure that a solution can be optimised to safely light a subway, underpass, or general public transit area, with appropriate illuminance and excellent uniformity.
• Rear or Side Cable Entries: installation can be optimised for wire-in-wire-out (e.g. with galvanised conduit), and/or rear cable entry.
• Corrosion and Water-Resistant Black Finish: hides dirt and grime while mitigating failure from installation in damp underground locations.
• Emergency: integrated 3hr emergency versions provide safe lighting in the event of power supply failure.
