PIR sensor to provide occupancy and presence detection for external wireless nodes
This Panasonic PIR sensor provides additional occupancy sensing features for commercial wireless controls projects.
Its 90° cone detection pattern and recommended mounting height (up to 5m) provide optimal detection coverage to coincide with typical luminaire spacing.
The 500mm cable and small white bezel provide mounting location flexibility, and a discreet ceiling finish.
Typically paired with a wireless node c/w strain relief, the PIR sensor is quick to connect using toolless push-button connections.
During commissioning, every PIR/node can be wirelessly linked to as many of the other PIR/nodes as you wish, ensuring luminaires can react as groups.
Occupancy sensing in meeting rooms can be over-ridden to OFF or a steady ON or dimmed state for a defined period by using a scene switch.
