PURPOSE

IECEx and ATEX rated by third-party, European testing houses and featuring a market-dominating product lifetime, this explosion proof hazardous area bulkhead is an energy efficient, minimal maintenance, hazardous area lighting solution that is ideally suited to deliver cost effective lighting in petrochemical industry, power transmission & power generation that can be relied upon for years to come.

  1. Impact Resistance: Risk of early failure is mitigated by using a shock and vibration-resistant aluminium alloy housing capable of withstanding an impact of up to 20 Joules (IK10). A tempered glass lens provides impact resistance up to IK08. An optional stainless steel guard increases this to IK10.

  2. Fitting Design: The Trevithick series has a low profile, clam shell design with dual cable inlets to allow efficient installation on site and easy long-term maintenance.

  3. Heat Dissipation: Recessed & spaced light engines also allow for excellent heat dissipation & low junction temperature. Which increases the luminaire life span and has a Lumen Maintenance rating of L70B50>120,000 Hours.

  4. Mounting: The Trevithick series is available with a varied array of mounting options; twin pipe clamp, twin surface bracket and twin eye bolt mount.
